Everyone has their own rhubarb stories to tell at the Rhubarb Festival to “school teacher” Carolyn, wearing a turn-of-the-century outfit. The giant rhubarb stalks on the teacher’s desk came from a museum volunteer’s garden in Momence, Illinois.
Rhubarb Festival held every May at the Kankakee County Museum.
Carolyn continues to help schools and local organizations in their fund-raising activities.
